How do I manage my Texture subscription in Apple iTunes?

Q: I have questions about my Texture subscription in Apple iTunes. How can I get help?

A: Apple Support is available to answer questions about your iTunes subscriptions.

  1. Visit Apple Support’s website https://getsupport.apple.com/
  2. Click iTunes & Apple Music
  3. Click iTunes Store
  4. Click Purchases, Billing & Redemption

 

Q: How can I switch from iTunes billing to billing directly through Texture?

A: You will first need to turn off Automatic Renewal in iTunes.  When you turn off Automatic Renewal to cancel your Texture subscription. Your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.

Note: if you don't see “Texture” listed as a subscription:

  •       Make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.
  •       If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Texture Support here: http://support.texture.com/contact

Take note of the subscription end date. On the following day, you will be able to start a new subscription on http://www.texture.com. To start a new subscription:

  1. Visit http://www.texture.com and sign in.
  2. Enter your billing information in the Account Summary page: https://www.texture.com/storefront/account
  3. Return to the Texture homepage (click the logo in the upper-left)
  4. Select the subscription of your choice: Premium or Basic

If you already have a subscription purchased directly through Texture.com you should not restart your iTunes subscription or you could end up being charged by both Apple and Texture. 

 

Q: How can I redeem a Texture gift subscription if I already have a subscription through iTunes?

A: You will first need to turn off Automatic Renewal in iTunes. (For help doing this, please see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039)

Take note of the subscription end date. On this date, you will be able to redeem the gift subscription.

  1. Visit our gift redemption page: https://www.texture.com/redeem
  2. Enter your gift code into the Redeem field.
  3. Click Redeem, then follow the steps to accept the Terms

 

Q: I've subscribed through iTunes but the Texture app isn't allowing me to read magazines - why?

A: You can correct this problem by doing the following in the Texture app:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap "Restore Purchases"

The app will then recognize your new subscription and allow you to read all magazines.
